I have been on the road for a week and am about to head back home. I had a really great time in Brooklyn at BCGF! I’m sorry to the dozens and dozens of people who I was looking forward to catching up with over the weekend that I didn’t get a chance to talk to, but I guess shows like this usually work out that way.
Thanks to Bergen St Comics and their excellent staff for hosting the launch party on Thursday, and to Tucker Stone especially for hugging me and warming my cold, dead heart, thanks to Gabe, Bill and Dan for putting it all on, thanks to Anne Koyama for letting me table, thanks to Lala for housing me, thanks to Mack Pauly and Chuck Forsman for putting out my new minis, and thanks to the D+Q store and staff for the great event last night!
And of course to everyone who came out to say hello over the past seven days.
I won’t be tabling at Expozine in Montreal this weekend, but people in town should drop by Toronto buddies/people who are asleep next to me as I am writing this Patrick Kyle and Ginette Lapalme’s table and check out their new comics, including the incredible Gang Bang Bong that Ginette coedited with Ines Estrada. Mille Putois’ table will also be stocking a reprint he made of Wet Cough, a silkscreened book I drew that has been out of print for a few years!

EDIT: And thanks to Ethan Rilly for interviewing me and Patrick at the event last night! We really sprung it on him last minute and he was great.
Love this panel from DeForge. Love the short comic that it came from. Happy Friday, comics world :)
